Our Why...
WisePoint Origins
For two decades, Lindsey has worked with students and families at every stage of the college journey — from early exploration in junior high to the final decisions of senior year. This work has always centered on one belief: students make their best choices when they understand themselves, feel supported by a strong team, and follow a clear, thoughtful plan.
WisePoint was created to bring that same level of thoughtful, individualized support to families outside the school setting. Our approach is rooted in the philosophy Lindsey has carried throughout her career:
Clarity matters. Students deserve to understand what’s ahead and why each step matters.
Strategy matters. A good plan is based on true knowledge of process and priorities in the admissions process.
Teamwork matters. No student should navigate this alone; families, mentors, and counselors all play meaningful roles.
Experience matters. Proven admissions insight and years of counseling leadership shape better guidance.
Most importantly, I love this work. I love helping students discover their strengths, explore possibilities, and make decisions that feel right for them. I love supporting families through a season that can feel overwhelming. And I love watching students step confidently into what comes next.

WisePoint is the culmination of all of it — the experience, the framework, the heart, and the belief that this process should feel exciting, not intimidating.
